Make sure to visit my dad blog at http://www.dadzilla.me When we found out about our "impending arrival" I immediately started planning how to tell everyone (seriously I have had way too much fun with this!) However the Indiana Jones video was actually the 2nd video I put together.
So to start things off I wanted to share the baby announcement videos I put together to let our friends and family know we were expecting.
A little bit of background, in the mid to late 90’s I worked as a video editor in the film/television industry. I worked for two visual effects companies, first was Warner Digital and second was Foundation Imaging. Some of the shows and movies I worked on include, Mars Attacks, Star Trek Voyager, Roughnecks: The Starship Troopers Chronicles, Contact, Conspiracy Theory. I got out of the film industry when work became hard to come by, but working with video is something I love so making these videos was a great deal of fun for me.
The video linked above was created to tell my parents that they were going to be grandparents. The Force Awakens had just come out and we went over to their house to watch the last James Bond movie. I snuck this video into the trailers we watched before hand. Suffice it to say they were very surprised when they saw their names appear toward the end of the video.
Just a warning if you have not seen The Force Awakens there are spoilers in this. But really, if you haven’t seen The Force Awakens you probably have other major problems… But I digress…
